Resumen We present Hydra, the first multicast routing protocol MANETs that establishes a multicast routing structure the set of source-rooted shortest-path trees multicast sources to receivers, without requiring the ofcontrol packets from each source ofa multicast. Hydra accomplishes this by dynamically electing core for the mesh of a multicast group among the of the group, and aggregating multicast routing in the nodes participating in multicast meshes, so that control packetsfrom the core are disseminated towards receivers of a group. We prove that Hydra establishes routes from senders to receivers ofa multicast group multicast state information is aggregated. We also simulations results illustrating that Hydra attains or higher delivery ratios than ODMRp, but with lower end-to-end delays and far less communication. Results are shown for scenarios using.11 and TDMA as the MAC layer protocols.
