Resumen |
Many research areas are developing applications that use the Global Positioning System (GPS) to improve human's life. In routing systems most of the studies are centered in time improvements. Despite they notify users the instructions that they should follow in their travels, they do not include support elements that could be useful as land marks or points of interest. We propose the Generation of Routes with Points of interest (GRP), a methodology based on an application ontology, that will be used to describe points of interest as shops, hospitals and schools, among others, located on the roadways of study area. The GRP gives users the instructions to go from one place to another combining geospatial analysis tools, web and mobile technologies. The routes generated begin in the mobile position and after a geospatial process, the user gets a map with the route, points of interest and instructions to change the direction to help him on his trip. |
